This served as the basis for the Broadway musical, "Promises, Promises," with music by Hal David and Burt Bacharach.

Another in the great resumne of Billy Wilder. One of his least known directed films, but still a great one, is "Ace in the Hole." The film pre-dates today's journalism problem with excessive, over-the-top news coverage.
