Our cars had no air bags, child safety seats, anti-lock brakes, intermittent wipers, 3-point seat belts, satellite (or even FM) radios, tire pressure sensors, heated power seats, halogen headlights, electronic fuel injection, third brake lights, catalytic converters, radar-assisted cruise control, GPS navigation systems, backup cameras, back-seat DVD entertainment systems, keyless entry systems, or cup holders (although you might have been able to rest a cup on the glovebox door if it was open). Most of them had manually-operated windows, and none ran on unleaded gasoline or could make hands-free telephone calls.
