@CJ Ya I got it. BUT some people don't, and think there shouldn't be restrictions on anything - - which is great, 'til you get cancer. So I just saw it a a chance to throw out a PSA. And I played with mercury too - - which helps explain things, right?
Thank you, @notsteve for your response. It gave me an idea for a possible submission to the "Life before...." category. As in "Life before" people took everything so literally and understood sarcasm & humor.
The repeated line about no brain damage and the ROFL should have been a hint.

Hexachlorophene is suspected to cause brain damage, and pHysoHex production was discontinued by Sanofi-Aventis in 2013. Better off with plain soap and water.
When I had my first (and second) pilonidal cystectomies (1967 & 1970) my doctor specified that the area be clensed with PHiosoHex...for obvious (at the time) reasons. The pilonidal cyst is a painful (and very annoying) one located near the base of the spine...makes it difficult to sit.....if ya catch my drift...
My sister and I used to use this liberally in our teenage pimple days. Can still remember that unique smell of the white goo. It didn't lather up like soap did so of course the tendency was to squeeze out more than the instructed ¼ to ½ teaspoon to get it to make lather. However the instructions on the back clearly stated "to make more and more suds add more and more water -- NOT more pHisoHex." Which seemed odd since, why not use more? So I used more Only years later, after the FDA pulled it off the market, did we understand why: pHisoHex's harmful main ingredient, hexachlorophene!

If you play Russian Roulette, your chance of losing is only 16-2/3%. My guess is that you'd pass.
Most people who used pHisoHex will never have a problem, but some will develop cancer as a result. There are better alternatives.
And if you have brain damage, would you even know?
