@Kiddie tv kid - I remember him mostly from McHale's Navy, but Marty is one of my favorite films. It was only a few years ago that I finally got to see Marty. I liked it so much that I bought a DVD of it. It might be time to watch it again.

Ernie Borgnine's best remembered film role is"Marty".

We remember him in his role of Lt. Cdr. Quentin McHale. In real life he was a career U.S. Navy enlisted sailor who retired before acting.
