One of my favorite streets is one in a previous neighborhood of mine that we lived in during my junior and senior high years.  Yes, it was framed by elm trees that created a beautiful canopy over the slightly curved street.  Sad that so many elm trees fell victim to Dutch Elm disease.

We had a huge one in my Uncle's yard in Amherst, MA. It was HUGE!!! The town puts boxes of disease prevention on it ever year. As far as I know, it is still there. They are fantastic trees!

They were beautiful trees and our street was lined with them until they became diseased.
