Metrecal liquid was right up there with Metrecal Lemon cookies and Sego liquid circa 1968.  I tried the Ayds candy, too. I had it with coffee, but could never stop, so they weren't such a good idea, either.  Those of us who have spent our lifetimes trying to lose weight should come to this conclusion:  if these products kept the weight off, you wouldn't need them afterwards and companies would go--pun intended--belly up.  The diet industry is  out to make lots of money.  They're not going anywhere but to the bank!!

Suddenly the commercials took on a whole different meaning when someone said, "I lost weight with Ayds!"

My mom used these for a while and I thought they were candy so I would eat them. They tasted pretty good but don't remember it slowing my appetite down.
