I was six years old in 1951, but I remember my friend who lived across the street and was my age actually thought he could drive a Crosley because they were so small and that his dad was going to buy him one!

These cars really could hold their own in sportscar competition. They also were called the Hot Shot. I had a 1942 Crosley convertible.
