I hated the Vanilla flavor almost as much as the Strawberry. My favorites were the Chocolate & Banana.

I also tried all the flavors and the best of "Bonamo's Turkish Taffy" was definately the vanilla.

I tried them all and vanilla definitely was the best.

"Oh - Oh - Oh, it's Bonomo's . . . Candy."

I only remember luscious vanilla Turkish Taffy. I'm not sure other flavors were available in Gulf Coast Texas. I remember Strawberry B B Bats. I got got caught slurping those with my head in the lift top desk. Three licks with the paddle didn't really hurt, but I was embarrassed.

I recently bought an 8-pack (2 of each flavor - vanilla, chocolate, strawberry & banana) from Bonomo's website. Just as delicious as I remembered but pricier. $7.75 plus shipping.

LOL !! On the commercials they would slap the Bonomo Turkish Taffy on the table and show how it would crack into "bite sized pieces" ! We always bought them before getting into the movies....they seemed to last a long time, like a Sugar Daddy ! Good movie candy that we bought at the candy store for a nickel. We stuffed our pockets with candy before seeing a James Bond double feature !! Dr. No ; Goldfinger --LOL !!

Not long ago, I found some "Bonomo's Turkish Taffy" (Something I hadn't seen in years.) at small store. Unfortunately, it just wasn't as good as I remembered.

As a kid I remember smacking the bar on concrete before opening it to make it break into bite size pieces. All the flavors were great.

Today's PowerBars remind me somewhat of this.
