I had a 1961 four-door Falcon in dark blue and drove it for 10 years until it would no longer pass inspection in NY State. Bad ball joints in the front suspension. Neatest thing about that car is that it had a manual choke on the dashboard so, properly set, it would start dependably in any weather.
The 1960 Canadian Falcon was indeed the Frontenac. It had a grill with what looked like a big propeller in it and slightly different taillight trim. Ford always trimmed their Canadian versions more ornately than the U.S. versions, and I wondered why it was necessary.
