Beaded Curtains
Beaded Curtains
Despite being a very popular home decor - especially if you wanted to be "with-it" they were a royal pain!

@notsteve - Shouldn't that be "Far Out, Man"?? wink

@Michael80149
- The beads on the ones that were popular way back when were translucent - not solid opaque like the ones in the image. This was the extent of the images I could find.

I lived in LasVegas and in the mid 2000's (2005 I think) I managed to save up enough to buy a condo. I didn't have lots of spare money but I went to Pier1 with a friend and found some bead curtains like these. I think I had enough money for 4 of them and I hung 2 behind my sofa to kind of separate the small front room from the smaller kitchen. I don't remember if they were as colorful as these but they sure looked cool and I got lots of compliments.~

I have to confess that my first apartment (1971) I had these along with shelves made from cinder blocks sprayed with flourescent paint (orange, green,and pink) and 1x12 boards, black lights, posters, inscense...It was a "groovy pad" ROFL
