When I was a kid in the sixties, I just loved Hercules. I worshoped him, and I swooned at the sound of the voice of the man who sung the opening song.
Do you remember the introductory song to the hercules cartoon shown in the sixties. I can quote (and sing) all of it. Any other Hercules fans?
Here it is:
Hercules, hero of song and story.
Hercules, winner of ancient glory,
Fighting for the right, Fighting with his might,
With the strength of ten, ordinary men;
Hercules, people are saved when near him,
Hercules, only the evil fear him,
Softness in his eyes, Iron in his thighs ( my favourite two lines)
Virtue in his heart, fire in every part,
Of the mighty , Hercules!
