Had one of the machines and about 3,000 plates when I bought the rights to a coin auction service back in 1992. Felt sort of badly, but I scrapped the whole system in favor of my IBM computer ... many of the plates were pre-Zone Improvement Plan (ZIP code)

my mother had a metal credit card, it was small and would be in a plastic envelope. The store was Gertz in Jamaica, NY and every month we would go up the escalator to the 6th floor to pay the bill. This was back in the mid 50s, wish I still had that card to show the grandkids.
